Wildfire has been proven to dramatically reduce the time and effort required in analysis of even the most complex databases. Instead of manually creating queries and reports, or using the limited ability of Excel, the Wildfire dashboard offers users the ability to perform almost any filtering function on multiple fields allowing immediate display of results and the ability to either directly print, email, report, or graph them.

Office 2007 / 10 interoperability

It is often essential that views of data, once analysed, can be disseminated quickly and in an acceptable format. As Wildfire is able to output to any Office 2007 application, results can be emailed, mail-merged with Word, Graphed in Excel, or if data contains date / time fields, can be exported to Project.

Clients value Wildfire's ability to connect seamlessly to their core systems and Microsoft Office products and users find it easy to use with little, or no training as it adheres to the Office 2007 look and feel.

Ongoing analysis

Often, after analysis of surveys and questionnaires, further more detailed queries arise. With hard formatted reports and charting these queries are time consuming and difficult to cater for. As Wildfire users can create filters and reports "on the fly", further detailed queries and analysis can be done as quickly as the user can think of them, again, with outputs to any of the Office 2007 suite of applications.

Wildfire is therefore a tool which will continue to provide efficiencies even when all data has been collected and the initial analysis is complete.

WILDFIRE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT SUITE

The Wildfire application development suite, provides unique software to rapidly and cost effectively solve information management problems for organisations of any size.  It is of particular use to businesses with disparate systems who need to manage data from many sources. Currently a company may need to run reports on several systems and reconcile the results manually, which can be time consuming and error prone. Wildfire combines all the required information seamlessly into one powerful, yet simple to manage PC application.

 Wildfire is aimed at information systems professionals rather than developers, as it has a simple, easy to use "drag and drop" setup methodology, although for complex features some basic programming knowledge is required. Wildfire is invaluable to managers or professionals who need to prepare reports quickly, to manage data, or tasks. The Wildfire environment hides and manages the complexity of where the information might originate and instead provides a simple, easy to use, scalable solution, with an intuitive and secure user interface for users to work with.

 Using Wildfire, businesses with older, non linked, less functional applications can achieve powerful data management and reporting goals immediately, without replacing their core systems.

 Written in Microsoft.NET, Wildfire is themed similarly to Outlook 2007 and therefore requires minimal training. It interfaces simply with all MS Office applications. The preferred database is Microsoft SQL Server 2005, but we have provided applications which run on top of FoxPro, Access, Oracle, Paradox and many others. The application itself is not tied to a particular database management system. Even remote information sources can be used.

 When designing new business information systems it is often a good idea to put together a proof of concept to show the end users. Wildfire also assists in this task by allowing a user with only basic IT skills to put together a working proof of concept in minutes, including security, audit trail, Office integration, filtering and reporting. In this respect we believe that Wildfire is currently unique in the marketplace.

As an example, the Wildfire Development Suite has been used to develop sophisticated military and defence solutions. It was selected on the basis that applications developed using the toolset were created with inbuilt "enterprise" features and inherent reliability. Its use also reduced the cost of projects by more than 50% of normal build processes, whilst delivering useable and stable code with similar savings in project elapsed time.

Applications using Wildfire technology are deployed in support of the US Air Force test program for the Lockeed Martin F35 Joint Strike Fighter and form the platform for ongoing logistical support for pilot flight equipment.
